CopyTrader will change the way people trade, by enabling you to build your real people-based portfolio.

How does it work? It's as easy as 1-2-3!

1. Pick who you'd like to copy.

The best place to start searching is the Live Rankings.

Once you found someone to copy, click the new shiny "CopyTrader" button.

2. Set the amount and click the Copy Button. That's it!

All you have to do is to decide how much money you want to use in copying the trader. You can use either Real or Virtual money.

There are no fees! We won't charge any "management fees", commissions or any other hidden cost. The CopyTrader is open for all.

And do you know what's the best part? No matter the amount you set, all trading activity will be copied with the exact proportional amounts!

We are rolling out exciting new features to the OpenBook. One of them is 'Market Leaders'.

“Market Leaders” can be compared with popular services such as “foursquare”, where people can check-in and become mayors of venues. At eToro, the “Mayor” is actually a “Market Leader”... 

How does it work?

1. Every Market (financial instrument) has its Market Leaders, from all over the world.

2. The leader of each market is the trader who achieves the highest amount of profitable trades, during the last 90 days, from every specific location. This means: If during the last 90 days you have made 125 profitable trades on GOLD, more than any other trader from the UK (your Country), it means that you are UK’s Market Leader of Gold!

3. You can easily browse the Market Leaders sections, accessible from the Market Pages. Easily switch locations either by using the top navigation bar (Enabling to browse World -> Continents -> Regions -> Countries) or by clicking the location links. Check the Market Leaders near by to see neighbour countries or regions. Start exploring the world!

But wait, there's even more...  'Market Leaders' are only the first type of a vast variety of 'Badges'.

OpenBook “badges” will enable you to keep track and share your achievements based on your performance and will increase your engagement with other users across the OpenBook network.

We have just released a very powerful tool that many OpenBook users wanted.

You asked for it. We listened. It's now here for you to try out!

 

For all of you who are curious how do all those traders manage to close profitable trades, we are very excited to introduce "Trade Story".

Let's take an example by showing the following feed:

Now, it appears that qing88 had some very positive returns. But how did he do it? Now we can easily know.

All you need to do is to click the "Trade Story" link.

Then, a cool popup will be opened with all of the interested info describing this trade:

• Duration (for example: 3 hours, 5 days etc.)
• Risk (exact leverage used)
• Gain (in percentage)
• Chart which includes the price history of the whole trade's duration, including two icons, indicating the opening of the trade and closing of the trade.

If you have already visited the OpenBook lately, you should have noticed that we were very busy working and releasing new features during the last couple of weeks.

In case you haven't noticed yet, here is a quick summary of the top 3 features we've just released:

 

1. Major upgrade of the Graphic User Interface -  The OpenBook now looks better than ever!

2. New Stats & Rankings - We have re-designed the User's Statistics and Rankings pages. Both pages are now extremely clear and easy to understand, and they look great!

 

3. Automatic email notifications - Some of you already asked for it using the feedback widget. We listened, and we are happy to announce that we've started to roll out email notifications. The OpenBook now enables everyone to share their thoughts, insights, analysis or simply to initiate a discussion publicly.

It's extremely simple (yet powerful).

Every user has a new section called: "Discussions". You can post anything in your mind, and of course others can post on your discussions page.

You can also participate in the discussions of every single financial instrument. For example: Join the conversation over the EUR/USD.

We are happy to announce the launch of the great new SEARCH functionaliy.

 

From now on you can find interesting traders to follow and copy their trades, using the brand new Search.

It's so easy to use: You can either search by user name or by risk level.

At the moment we support two types of search (More options will be added soon)

1. Search by username - Enabling you to find specific user based on a simple textual search. 

Let's assume you want to find the user "michael". Go to the Search field, type "michael" and hit the search button.

2. Search by risk level -  Enabling you to get the top traders, according to their trading activity made by specific risk level only.

For example: Let's say you want to see the best low-risk traders, simply go to the Search field, select "Low" and hit the search button. That's about it, actually!

This is a great opportunity to really stand out in the Live Activity Feed and gain everyone's attention.
